UMBRA yacht, at 54m is one of the two original YS 5009s delivered in 2010, pioneered the Yacht Support phenomenon.

Recognised as the filmmaker’s helicopter base in the BBC Blue Planet series, motor yacht UMBRA is now under new ownership.

A significant refit in 2017 has transformed her into a versatile, modular multitasker, ready to meet a variety of demands with unparalleled efficiency and style.

Umbra is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with aluminium decks. Powered by 4 x diesel MTU (12V 4000 M60) 1,320hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 54,420 gallon fuel tanks. Umbra features at-anchor stabilisers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 7,400 Gallons of fresh water allowing for incredible autonomy on the sea.
