Whilst maintaining the robust functionality of the YS 5009 platform, SHADOW introduced luxurious accommodations for six guests, making her the first in the series to offer this enhanced experience. This unique combination of support capabilities and guest comfort makes SHADOW a truly exceptional vessel.  

Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, combined with a 9.25m beam and 3.2m draft, provide a stable and capable platform. The exterior design, featuring the signature Axe Bow, is both striking and functional. A large helipad, rated for 3,700kg, and a heavy-duty deck crane highlight her support capabilities. 

The interior, designed to high standards, includes a main-deck master suite and two double guest cabins, along with accommodations for staff and crew. SHADOW is powered by four Caterpillar engines, achieving a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Her range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots allows for extended voyages.  

This fifth hull in the YS 5009 series showcases the adaptability of the design and Damen Yachting's commitment to meeting evolving client needs.
